The surgeon said that the margins were extremely thin but that there was clean tissue all around it... there's always a possibility but I'm gonna make regular vet visits for her โค๏ธ
Thanks everyone for the love and well wishes, Chell's surgery went great. Her biopsy confirmed she had thyroid cancer which is pretty rare in cats but it seems like it was contained. Her ionized calcium levels should return to normal and we'll be keeping an eye to see if she needs chemo later. โค๏ธ

My boy Kaidan has barely left her side since she came home โค๏ธ I'm so relieved to have her home and safe. She goes back Friday for bloodwork to see if the surgery fixed her hypercalcemia! ๐ค
