Cannot express what a wild day it was to release Slay the Spire 2. So excited to see folks finally playing and so lucky to have gotten to work with the seriously talented and lovely people that made up the dev team 💜
Slay the Spire 2's concurrent Steam players just hit 179,456, the highest ever for any roguelike.
When StS1 first launched back in 2017, it had 193 concurrent players.
That's a 92,982% increase, meaning StS3 is on track to hit 166,861,777 concurrent players by 2035. 💪
Recently I got invited to join the new Godot UX team. When I have time I will be helping testing editor PRs and make Godot more usable for everyone.

This port for #Godot 4 was easier than I expected, and I measured a 2-3x performance improvement in the good cases! Can be much better integrated from here, but a good start.

Honestly, AI slop PRs are becoming increasingly draining and demoralizing for #Godot maintainers.
If you want to help, more funding so we can pay more maintainers to deal with the slop (on top of everything we do already) is the only viable solution I can think of:
