sometimes driving players in a league get together to give rides to those who don’t have their own vehicles, especially in situations when the venue is out of the city. that mutual aid is often a big part of derby culture!

what am i embarrassed of — i’m not sure. i guess that i didn’t go to art school, that i don’t really understand the materials or the techniques. but probably it’s mostly the same issue of self-acceptance (namely: not having any) that pervades my whole life.
