I don't know much about fine scale flea anatomy but that face is giving off nightmare vibes
That sounds like fun. He owns that one. Maybe I should switch. Is there a way to bypass the learning curve and just move on to riding horses?
Took "Jump to Event" on the dash a little too literally.
I grew up with games like Pac Man and Pitfall and could play for hours without worrying what phase the moon was in or what ingredients to mix together.
My son suggested I play Breath of the Wild. I'm about 10 hours in and I just can't with all the stuff to figure out. Is there a open world game where you just run around, it doesn't get harder, there are no stakes, and you can occasionally shoot the monster with a single arrow and it dies?
1. Major news out of San Jose State University.
The University has REJECTED Trump's demands to ban trans people from bathrooms, dorms, and other facilities.
This comes after Trump threatened them for once having a trans student athlete.

A black and white cats head pokes out from underneath the gray slats of a bench. He startes up at the camera.
Badger also says thanks!
Ok. Clean bill of health! The oncologist noted crystals in his bladder during his CT scan in January but today at the vet his urinalysis was normal (probably just stress). So we get to wean him off the steroids over the coming few weeks and we are in the clear. Thanks again to all who helped.
If anyone is following Badger's journey today is his 6 week check up post radiation. If everything looks good we will start taking him off his steroids and then keeping our fingers crossed.
Or they've heard that mistake before and are cranky about correcting someone for the nth time. As someone who has specialized knowledge I get it, but anyone that I try and correct I won't come at with that kind of attitude. I'm interested in educating as a general rule and not "winning the internet"
Yep, I am now aware. Thanks.
But did you deserve it?
To be fair though aren't cows constantly escaping into the English countryside? That's what BBC dramas would have us believe.
With the way the world is right now I just don't have time for snark. There are ways to make something a teachable moment without an attitude. Hopefully none of those folks have to ever be before students.
Funny, just did the same.
1. From wikipedia as a quick source.
Yes. "Also known as mustard agents, this family of compounds comprises infamous cytotoxins and blister agents with a long history of use as chemical weapons. Sulfur mustards are viscous liquids at room temperature and have an odor resembling mustard plants, garlic, or horseradish, hence the name."1
I want to see the midterms so 2027 will do just fine.
Doing a quick read it appears that the chemical substance in mustard gas was originally based off of several members of the mustard family, including horseradish.
I have a vivid memory of visiting my maternal grandmother who was grinding her own fresh horseradish. All the windows were open, she was in the kitchen wearing a bandana across her face. Her face was beet red and her eyes would not stop wattering. You literally could not stay in the house.
Any economists out there who would be willing to answer a question that is tying my brain in knots about the value of goods through time?
Horseradish?
It's almost 80 F here so...
@americanbeetles.bsky.social Thoughts? Have you seen or heard of this before? Never seen one let alone the many coating my walls.
A beetle clinging to a stone wall.
New one for me!
Saw these all over the walls of our house. Lampyridae pupating?
