My suggestion would be to get an illustrator help develop a concept of a good cover and also a separate Steam capsule. It helped my own game tremendously! (Which, btw, is also technically a sci-fi shooter, but veeeery different).

Looking at it, I can deduce it's a shooter (not clear if 1st/3rd) and that it's set in space/sci-fi, but that's about it. Not a bad theme, but nothing unique pops at you at first glance.
I would also suggest doing some work on the title/logo, because the font suggests it's a bit generic.
