So actually, I got there with my cards, and the event got cancelled because the person who was supposed to be in charge of running it just got out of the hospital. But I didn't see any cancellation posts.
Still talked to some people inside and picked up some cards from the store so it wasn't wasted

Going to my first in person Magic the Gathering event at a local game shop I've been wanting to check out, and I'm feeling very emotions about. I've only ever played with people I know personally and am horrid at initiating anything in new places. Wish me luck.

I just had a stressful dream in which something I had said incorrectly to a helpful store employee would have cost me hundreds of dollars. Now correcting myself after they had gone out of their way to assist me, and make them put it back would have been a great inconvenience. I woke up to escape.
