They’re breaking out the food at Housefather HQ in Mount Royal as the polls close and volunteers settle in to watch the results.
Just spoke to Ben, who is a first-time voter. He voted Conservative because he likes their tough in crime agenda and because he believes they will act against antisemitism.
Roughly one hour before polls close and it’s quiet at Hampstead School in the Mount Royal riding. Several people I spoke to said they “voted for change”. Others said the US president was their main motivation to go vote.
