Just came home a bit dizzy from all the attention at the exhibit. My selective ear and my social anxiety shielded me but apparently my armor was the main topic. Lots of people recognized me and came to talk and congratulate me. A bit overwhelming but I'm very grateful to all, specially my teacher 💚

Another six pics collage, this time with the last steps of the tooling, the first one with the body popping up a bit trough embossing and part of the background textured. Second with the border decoration tooled and the stitching holes punched. Third and fourth are detail pics, first of the head, with all the volumes and scale and horn textures done, alongside with the eyeball and mouth membrane, and detail pic of the infinite symbol intersection of the body and three of the runes popping up. Fifth shows the cover complete without the colour, and sixth is the cover with another light and the pieces of the inside already cut

Second has the green dying of the scales, the beige paint of the belly and the silver and golden of the runes. Third shows the dab dying of the inside pockets. Fourth is a closer pic of the green dying of the scales and the head, and the shadowing of the horns. Last shows the final step, the black glaze of the piece, that will shadow the gaps and textures to give it more depth

The colour working could be better, but the tooling process was fun af. And at least I learnt a lot about what NOT to do! Anyway, the result is more than enough 🥰

I didn't get Fan Fest tickets 😭 I was hoping I could use it as an excuse to finish my Ardbert Hylfyst cosplay.
I've fallen in love with leathercraft and hope I can find some time to complete this soon- but its a very slow work in progress.
