nahiri’s world got fucked up and she spent 1000 years in a sensory deprivation demon vault, so when she got out she just went “yeah, im a god. I’m gonna go beat up my evil gay dad” as is her right.
the attempted murder of every person on innistrad was too much, but sorin got what was coming to him.

- I mean I feel like what she did on innistrad and to Sorin wouldn’t really be all that crazy 6000 years ago when Planeswalkers could kinda just do whatever they felt like. I mean not that it still isn’t evil or whatever. I just don’t think that kind of “eye for an eye” reaction was unusual lmao.

I feel like a big part of nahiri’s story is the fact that she has not been out of the Helvault for that long all things considered, and she was in there during the mending, so she still has the kinda Oldwalker brainrot that tells her she is god and can do whatever she wants. -

not that this is a new take I’ve had. I also believe that you can personally like or side with one or the other as they are fictional characters who haven’t hurt real people. This is just a critique of people who believe one was objectively, morally correct in their behavior.

- and how important it is to care about the lives of the people stuck on the planes you are destroying, whether that be because you refuse to communicate with someone and lash out at them or because you are taking revenge for a wrong inflicted on you by someone you trusted.

- sorin and nahiri both let untold thousands of people die because of their personal issues. their stories are supposed to show that Planeswalkers carry a lot of power that, if misused, can destroy entire planes worth of people. it shows the responsibility Planeswalkers have to the multiverse-
