Oh that’s lovely though. We had a change of plan too. I got the tickets so I could take my Macca-mad auntie, then she couldn’t come, but it turned out to be special in a different way.

Same with Back Seat of My Car, even though the individual sections are dynamite. There’s also a sincerity in, say, Fool on the Hill that for all his later earnestness seemed to get lost as he leaned into pastiche.
