Love the political intrigue going on, and the table is really fun to roleplay with. I absolutely gotta doodle the moment when Niharika scared a guy shitless during interrogation

Look up flying hills ^^
Ski flying is not even present at the Olympics and flying hills appear in a typical men's ski jumping season much more often than these normal hills. The competition at a normal hill is who lands their jump the prettiest and that's simply not what most jumpers focus on during the regular season.
At the pawn shop
browsing through the pans
young punk
rejects all sleazy puns.
Round skillets
he seamlessly disregards —
too full of themselves.
Feeling resigned,
goes back to square ones,
tho it irks to call them kettles.
These metals really testing his mettle,
but he knows he'll have to settle.
Mon amour, now #unmoored,
let go to see new sights.
We bid them leave, as not to live
so tethered to their mast.
But as we breathe, we won't forgive
if horrors come to pass.
We stay awake. For goodness sake,
return home safe to us!

I got to run a #DnD one-shot in a setting I've had in my head for 7 years. Feels euphoric to give life to this world, which I've carried so close for so long. And I feel like I've managed to adapt it to fit around the characters of my players, giving them some joy as well. Future one-shots ahoy!

I'd try to listen but it may end up like with the first prompted podcast where I listened for like 6 episodes and then fell behind and never caught up. Just the podcast format is not really for me.

As a form of monikerpoems wrapped I can proudly say I wrote ~75 #blueskyrelay poems/stories this year, (and hosted 14 days,) which is not a lot, (I took long breaks and stuff,) but I'm still happy with the statistic. ^^ again, thanks for the prompt @poetguygabe.bsky.social! It's been lots of fun!

Upkeep
The world saw battles,
but at last, the dust settles.
The last stone is cast.
The victors get to pick up
what's left of the past
and forge their new paths.
So here I am — Atlas,
making sure nothing's lost.
Someone's got to
pay the vast cost.
I love to hear that. ^^ I've been going through a bit of an artistic drought. (on top of having a bad cold on Christmas)
I hang up the laundry
on the strings
to dry,
I #air out my laundry
for the neighbours
to see,
I hope some of the laundry
might just
disappear,
but I pick up the laundry
and it's all there
and clean.
I wish all this laundry
wasn't mine,
wasn't me.
