I guess I just found delight in the way the creator made a cute woodworking video out of lego and stop motion. It was more about the journey than the destination for me ☺️

Because it's a fun, pretty clever process video?
This is delightful.
I can write funding applications and cook whatever is in the fridge/garden if that's helpful?
I've begun a starter pack of Aotearoa writers to help others find the crowd on bsky. I know I've missed plenty, so comment below if you want to be added (or removed).

Right?! A size should be a size should be a size. I feel even more strongly about shoe sizes!
I bought jeans in the same brand in the same size from the same online shop the other day and couldn't even get the zip done up let alone the button.
This is the only type of content I need today.
This is a CAT checkpoint. Show me the most recent cat image on your phone.
Glare! It's good for them to have a few people glare at them! It seems to be making a little bit of difference at the DCC meetings lately.
Hey, Welly friends, did you know NZ Fringe has a mini lit festival this weekend? Tadra Vata have five sessions centred around art through an indigenous lens. I'll be going to the Sat eve sesh, though I'd love to go to all — damn my packed schedule! #NZBooks

Ōtepoti Dunedin kikorangi bluesky folk: does anyone already have a (what do we call them here) feed or list of local folk who share about upcoming local events (for example)?
Want to be able to tap into something to get a sense of what's on
(as opposed to have to individual search each time)
Ōtepoti, seriously, if we can find a candidate for the DCC by-election who I can believe in, I'll basically drop everything to help them get elected.
I can't vote for any of the current options.
Workshop has been pulled forward to 12pm!
Ōtepoti Community Builders is trying to keep people in the loop as much as we can - any extra info we get will go onto our fb page DnCommunityBuilders.
It would be great if one of you has capacity! The council chambers are on the top floor of the art gallery at the moment - just head up all the flights of stairs you can see and when you run out, veer left and you'll see the meeting room
Congratulations Kate! It's great going.
A niche PSA but anyone in Dunedin who might ever want to apply to the DCC for funding for anything: there's a councillor workshop about the (never-ending) grants review at 1pm on Thursday 5th.
Pass it on?
Anyone got favourite mortgage brokers?
So convenient! Imagine if one of the kids ran a *successful* campaign... 👀😍
Not yet. I think nominations open in a week or two. I just think we need to rally around someone amazing and support them so they get voted in.
Dunedin people! Who are we going to support to run in our by-election? We could do with someone who isn't a 50+ yo white man and maybe someone from outside the business/commercial community?
And if those unloved planter boxes weren't blocking another 20 parks ...............
Doing a pick up at dn airport and *all*of the cars in the drop off only space are picking people up 🤣
Not sure why the airport has dug their heels in on this - there's plenty of space with a full flight landed and same going out, and cars are coming and going without stress.
If you need a good show to watch, Total Control is pretty great. Deborah Mailman is amazing and Rachel Griffiths is too.
I haven't quite managed to make myself vacuum yet but it's not far off!

It's amazing how much admin and house work you get done when you have a website to proof read 😅
