10K lot is pretty restrictive, for sure. I’m in suburban Denver, built a detached ADU behind my home on a 6,350 sf lot—leaving plenty of separation and with private outdoor space for the unit and myself.

“More people are riding Colorado’s Bustang buses, especially along Interstates 25 and 70 — eight times as many as when the service began a decade ago and triple the number in 2019.” Gift article. www.denverpost.com/2026/02/20/b...

Oh, you 🩷
Moving on from an extraordinary CEO to the norm of the day, I guess. BTW my first paycheck of 2026 reveals the One Big Beautiful Bill bonus: $10.00 per month. Meanwhile those at the high end are seeing up to and over $50K annually.
And the message!
It is! Love the palette. 😍
It's not the main topic of this podcast (the entire podcast is well worth watching), but this clip, about the value and impact of government funded science, is compelling. youtu.be/eyY05fD9dk4?si
That’s amazing! (Especially that you can keep count of the vehicles)
Edit: combined sales are 32.4%. That’s big.
Suddenly I'm seeing EVs all over the place! Are we at an inflection point that survives the end of federal subsidies? Colorado is 1st in sales of BEVs (blue dots) and PHEVs (orange) combined, at 31%. Charging infra has kept up: 84% of our 9K road miles have fast charging capability w/in 30 miles.
I thought so too!
On Lakewood Gulch Trail, near RTD’s 14th & Decatur Station. 😍
So cool!
Fascinating--teasing out how political leanings are influenced (actually, attenuated) by the event's economic benefits but also and more potently the attention and respect lent by being on the route. This seems important stuff. Via @derekvanvliet

It absolutely is!
Rode the California Zephyr from Denver to Glenwood Springs this week. And just as they say, the scenery was breathtaking
Wow! You go!!
Gorgeous photos!
😂
Know someone who wants to expand their car-free travel throughout Colorado? I'm hosting a 'dry run' on Oct 11 to show how easy it is. We'll take the G Line from Olde Town to Union Station, make an easy transfer to Bustang and then head to Idaho Springs. Let me know interest and I'll send details.
Me too. I want one too.
Great presentation at RTC this morning on @DRCOGorg’s draft Active Transportation Plan, a guide to ‘extending walking, bicycling and rolling to everyone’ in the Denver region. Please review & provide feedback, as the plan will help inform funding decisions, by 9/1. engage.drcog.org/active-trans...
Whoa!
Colorado’s mobility hubs do key things: shave significant minutes from travel time (esp. when center-loaded) and serve as connection points for other routes and modes to get you to or from your final destination. The I-25 express lanes, free for transit, likewise help. And it shows in ridership!
Great piece about the increasing number of wildlife collisions on Colorado roads. CDOT is building one of the largest wildlife overpasses ever on I-25 at the far south edge of DougCo. It’s extra wide to accommodate the large animals in this area—w/ 54 sq miles of open space. youtu.be/4lNDO4C-r_Q
Thanks for highlighting!
@ucame2cashow.bsky.social The good folks at CDOT carried out 2 observations bet 4-6pm of the turn movement at 64th. The construction north of there at 68th m/b influencing motorist behavior. They’ve reallocated 5 seconds of time from southbound left to northbound left, & think that will alleviate it
