Does anybody know what the jam from Rosemont is that's featured in Between Me and My Mind? It's the end of some type 2 jam that clearly got off the rails, but the movie gives us no other information than "Rosemont"
My 23-year-old friend has been telling me that flannel is out of style. But you can take my flannel out of my cold, plaid hands
Was listening to this Dancin' in the Street the other day that floored me

Great pick. Theyβre my second favorite Dead cover band after JRAD!
A strip of Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes sitting at his school desk writing with a pencil. Above him, the words he writes - Yakka Foob Mog. Grug pubbawup zink wattoom gazork. Chumble spuzz.
Calvin making up some fire jam band names here.
Movie was alright! Lot of really beautiful shots and smart use of colors and lights. The script and performances leave a lot to be desired, which is a bummer.
Watched Black Orpheus for the first time earlier, so I will have this Rubin and Cherise stuck in my head for the next 72 hours.

My friend @steelydan4prez.bsky.social asked a great question the other week - what's the #1 song for people to name their Grateful Dead cover bands after? Did a little digging, and here's what I found...

In any event, see y'all in Bethel!
I am no stranger to Ticketmaster Fees but it's kinda crazy the fees for this Billy Strings run are basically the price of tickets
Crowd is now angrily yelling OZZY, who was not in the montage. He was definitely alive when the montage was made ten years ago
Wish you were here end solo visuals is just a montage of, initially, the dead members of Pink Floyd. Then every classic rocker who ever died?? Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix, Garcia, Lennon, Harrison, Marley, Ray Vaughn, Bowie, Prince, Mercury, Cobain
Lasers look really cool and nice to hear Dark Side out of the Wellmontβs speakers
More AI Slop than I expected at the Pink Floyd Laser Show but thatβs on me tbh
Anybody have favorite jam band love songs that arenβt the Dead, Phish, Billy, Panic or Dogs?
And then I farted and it smelled π€π€
Wrote a little bit about Bob Weir, and an element of his musicianship that Iβve always appreciated

Very pretty quiet section starting about 28 minutes in! Synth heavy with some nice guitar over top, reminds me of an ending jam in a Floyd song. Actually they might just be jamming on the chords to Time??
Kind of reminds me, musically, of what Daft Punk does in their piece βGiorgioβ - starting with how jam rock started with the Grateful Deadβs early sound then pushing into the funkier and electronic stuff that came in their wake
Hot bluesy jam in the first ten minutes, very reminiscent of The Dead, before they fade away to a funkier kinda thing. This makes me feel how those house music remixes of Dead songs want to make me feel
Listening to the 56 minute Other One jam that Spafford played the other night. Figured with β56 minute Other Oneβ theyβd jam a little before going into the intro of the song. But no, right on it. Good on them
Just heard a Grateful Dead themed subway announcement from Andy Cohen?? He said something about Cornell 77 and worked in βI know you rider.β
Playing Island Tour 2001 to soundcheck some speakers at work. Got a βwho is this? This rulesβ from a coworker and when I said Phish, their face dropped

Oh shit I saw The Word at Peach a few years back so I guess this is my second time seeing Robert Randolph stoned
Only other time I saw Robert Randolph I was on the clock at a music festival and couldnβt be stoned. This rules
Some killer jams tonight! Really digging what the bass playerβs throwing down
