grimm hollow knight and grimmchild hollow knight, as a pair of loafs
drawing a hollow knight loaf every day until i get bored (day 5) a pair of grimms for your troubles

every once in a while I would watch a lore video essay of some game or show and I'd get jumpscared by my own music and I'm always so giddy about it and point at the screen like the guy who points at the screen from the meme where he points at the screen
yeah something like that, but still much less limiting than what digital cameras could do at least in the early days, i did a semester of darkroom phototraphy for a class once and at the time digital cameras weren't quite up to snuff, though analog film can still lose resolution in different ways
can't even pin this one on "unrestricted access to the internet" cuz was the 90s, unrestricted access to crime shows maybe
even worse! the cameras on our phones now are way higher fidelity than the (often bulky) dedicated digital cameras of yesteryear. it's incredible and freaky how much technology evolved so much within just recent memory, now what were we talking about again, oh right, manslaughter
digital files which are limited by their pixel size, ok so in the early 2000s, when digital cameras were still new and not on every phone, all the photos look very low resolution because the image fidelity haven't caught up yet, but the phone cameras from the 2000s (which were on flip phones) were
grocery stores had things called "photo centers" that prints photos from normal cameras, but instead of giving them files on a thumb drive, you give them these rolls of film-plastic, which they use chemicals to turn into photos, but the fun thing about film is that it's infinitely scale-able! unlike
were a huge deal back then but the quality wasn't good at all but the camera prints, it prints the photos! back then the only people who had these magical unicorn cameras were teachers and they use them to take photos of the class, or friends' parents who i'm pretty sure were surgeons, and all the
(me explaining the plot of omori to my future kids) ok so back in the day, back in the day before you had cameras on your phones, cameras had something called "film", and they had to take it to a special store to "develop" it to be able to see the photos, but THIS is called a "polaroid camera" which
may I interest you in its even more unhinged offspring

if the industry is a sinking ship then indie is a liferaft at best, might tide you over for a bit but you fight tooth and nail for even a fraction of studio budget, ultimately not the most sustainable
drawing of the thread raker enemy from silksong with its long millipede body curled up into a loaf, a precious creature that i wish wasn't just a generic enemy because that means there will never be an official plush of it just like booflies from the first game :(
drawing a hollow loaf every day until i get bored (day 4), today I offer the humble thread raker

In silksong path of pain is just called path of normal
I think this is why I prefer games as a storytelling medium, entirely optional loredumps you can find as a reward if you're crazy enough
(I proceed to not draw it because drawing is hard, man)
I feel like my entire creative process is to look at large imposing structures and think "man my oc would look really cool in this"
Oh these are so cute! 🌸
