I loved this book so much!
Just finished reading The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. Clever and beautifully written. I highly recommend.

I am so sorry. It’s been more than three decades since my mom passed away. I always miss her, but she is with me - in memories, family stories, the look of her grandchildren, and the many things she taught me. Your mom will be with you too. Wishing you peace.

I don’t post much, but today I wanted to share that I am going to be a grandmother for the first time! I came to motherhood late when I adopted my daughter as a single parent. It was the greatest adventure of my life, and I am so excited for this next chapter. ❤️
This is not Taylor Swift. Must be AI.

So sorry you have felt this way. I can relate so much to disliking your own reflection, as I’m sure many people can. Hope time and life will comfort you.
Old lady here. Followed a non-traditional timeline for both my career and my family. I too felt most visible in middle age. Now I’m old and invisible, but that too has a big upside. I don’t worry how I look because no one cares, and I express my opinions more easily. Beautiful photo, by the way.
