Finally finished the intro page to my new sketchbook! Not sure what I'll work on next, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the time spent hunting down some inspiration.

I was hoping to leave them white and just darken the background up to make them stand out more, but I think they are too thin to leave white, so I do think you are right about coloring them in. I did float the idea of doing a hot pink, but I'm also not minding your metallic silver idea!
Thank you! I'm liking it too which is making me even more nervous as to what to tackle next, so baby steps with this one! That intro page can be nerve wracking, but it's fun once you decide what to do. My sketchbooks are generally themed which does help getting the intro page ideas out easier.
My current project: the inside cover as an intro page to the new sketchbook. Not really sure how I'm going about doing the rest of it but I should be done in a couple days I'd think.

Took a break from my sketchbook, did some scrolling and saw #BirdWhisperer existed, so I did a very quick colored pencil sketch of the lovebirds. I will be paying attention to this challenge the rest of the year! But for now I have bugs to finish...

It's definitely a fun game to get into. The boss mechanics are pretty challenging at times, so dungeon runs are generally pretty great to do.
I wish I could create artwork like this, it's awesome, but my brain wants to do too much detail so it's a fight to get that flat, kind of minimalist approach with me, and then my work just doesn't look right to me.
The game is super friendly for playing in a group, but for dungeons and trails, that kind of thing, as far as main storyline, yeah, that's the true solo content. I'm the opposite, I'm all about being able to solo a game and not have to group up with others cause I get dungeon anxiety when I group up
I literally just canceled my account on that game. I've been playing it on and off for years now, but I haven't been playing at all recently so it was time to let it go for a little bit again.

Yes, Dinovember! I attempted it, but like I said my brain wasn't ready. I do plan on possibly following their prompts still when I start dinos though-I like prompts. Not all my stuff is great, but it let's me know where I need to improve, so I don't mind the rough stuff at all.
There are a couple bug challenges going on over on IG, we will see how many I can accomplish this month from the two!

Yeah I figured certain parts of them would be tricky to learn, but being used to doodling birds would definitely benefit moving on to dinosaurs. Someone had a dino art challenge a month or so ago, but I couldn't get my brain to art at that point, now it'll be something I just start on one day.
Now dinosaurs I need to tackle at some point
