Joelle, she/her, AuDHD, cottage industry garment worker, sewing, knitting, spinning, plants, libraries, books, games. Not a fascist trad wife -- I just dress like a story book, and like baking bread and reading Tolkien.
Yes!
Jesse trying to help me choose a Star Trek character, and it keeps getting more unhinged:
Quark.
No, the space jellyfish from Encounter at Farpoint.
Or, Vash, she's like a space tomb raider. Lara Shuttlecraft!
I strongly feel that fundraisers should rely more on pettiness.

Weβre all getting hammered
Violets are blue

A medieval illustration of a hedgehog with grapes skewered on its spines
It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea
You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.
yep, they're still at it in LA and Portland too
the media is gonna be like "time for a new narrative" and it's so important to keep talking about how none of the cities they invaded have become more safe since the spotlight shifted away from them
He was crowdfunding his treatments. James couldnβt afford his health care.
The cover of a knitting pattern from the 80s featuring an oversized sweater in black and pink that has a massive green stegosaurus on it, with his spines going down the arm. He's also wearing glasses for some reason.
Screaming at this jumper which I might have to make* (*add to my ever-growing list of things I want to make). Just look at him though, apart from being amazing full stop why is he wearing glasses?!?!
This is actually quite brilliant, up to and including the final sentence π₯
Update: he's so huggy and soft!
Since I have a lot of new followers, I will re-up this. Some folks just wanted to buy a couple whistles from us instead of getting 100-1000 FOR FREE (which you can do at the linktree in my bio!!!!!)

I need to extend the strap, because it was not made for large chested peoples.
I have black webbing somewhere around here, but no grey.
A selfie. I'm wearing a blue dress and white headphones and glasses, holding a cute Wolfchan plushie with straps at his hands so I can wear him as a bag.
He's here! I love him!
The delivery window was just pushed forward. Alas.
An undecorated 9 inch round cake with pink frosting.
I finally made the strawberry cake I intended to make on Sunday for I.N.'s birthday.
I used freeze dried strawberries in the batter and frosting, because everything is still under snow and we won't have fresh strawberries until June.
Me: snow white packidge face because my Wolfchan bag is out for delivery.
Do I need it? No. Will having a cute Wolf friend hugging me while I wear the bag bring me some joy? Yup.
Today's hype song: Adrenaline by ATEEZ.
Ahhhhhh it's so good right into my veins through my ears please.
I got to walk someone through the idea that "illegal immigrants" is a silly phrase by explaining that they are "illegal" immigrants the same way you are an "illegal" driver for getting a parking ticket; both of you committed civil violations.
Jack Duffy attaches a respirator to his bagpipes to play through tear gas. βI always play it whenever the police retreat because it's like, βYou fucking ran while we stayed,ββ he says.

The Ring ad leveraging our love for our pets to promote mass surveillance technology reminds me of how some mobile surveillance and weapons platforms were introduced to the public as βrobot dogs.β
They know what theyβre doing.

I think this month marks the first anniversary of me beginning my AuDHD assessment process.
I vaguely remember starting the forms in February last year.
My intake appointment was in March, assessment at the end of May, and results at the end of July.
Last year was a wild ride, indeed.
I think the βI hated the half time show because I couldnβt understand the lyricsβ complaints are so funny coming from anyone who ever listened to alternative music in the 90s
Hey let's hook up street medics this morning πππππ
I need to watch that performance so many more times so I can appreciate all the layers!
i don't know who needs to hear this, but: water is nothing soup
This is awesome but itβs absolutely unconscionable that Minneapolis or Minnesota leaders havenβt ordered an eviction freeze.
Great, NOW whoβs going to Simon all these Garfunkels?
