Happy Friday, everyone! What a way to end the week. We added a few donations that rolled in after the buzzer and the updated total we got from the folks at the Marsha P. Johnson Fund, which officially brings us over $25,000 raised. We're in awe of you all. BLUESKY STILL HAS THE JUICE

the telethon is over, but apparently the funds are still rolling in! we just heard from the Q Center in Portland, who run the Marsha P. Johnson Fund, that they've received $10,569 in donations in the last 3 days, with over 150 new donors from across the country. that's $4k more than we thought!

Incredibly honored and proud to have been one of the presenters in this telethon. HUGE HUGE HIGH FIVES to the organizers and MASSIVE THANKS to everyone who participated and donated!!!

we received 343 donations, ranging from $5 to $562.74

the average was $63, but 74% of all donations were $50 or under

so many people sent us $10 or $20 apologizing that it wasn't more, but those small contributions were the backbone of this fundraiser! truly every single dollar matters

Last night we helped raise over $15k for Minnesota and Portland, and we did it just by goofing off. I woke up feeling a little less hopeless than usual. Feels good to just help to help, but especially just by having fun and talking about silly stuff. Let's do it more!

We watched this last night and seeing so many smart, funny, and lovely people speaking passionately on a range of topics while celebrating art, resistance, and queer joy genuinely lifted my spirits. I highly recommend checking out the video replay, and there's still 15 hours left to donate!
