I suppose a small silver lining to Musk's misinformation logorrhoea is that it highlighted a good charity to donate to.

We can't let British democracy turn into a plaything for overseas billionaires with short attention spans.
At PMQs, I urged the Prime Minister to work with us to make sure power always sits with the voters, not wealthy foreign oligarchs.
Screenshot of a post by Ed Davey on a pink-gold gradient background, with the Liberal Democrats logo at the bottom. Ed's post reads "People have had enough of Elon Musk interfering with our countryβs democracy when he clearly knows nothing about Britain. Itβs time to summon the US ambassador to ask why an incoming US official is suggesting the UK government should be overthrown. This dangerous and irresponsible rhetoric is further proof that the UK canβt rely on the Trump administration. Itβs in our national interest to rebuild trade and security ties with our allies in Europe."

Absolutely this from Ed Davey π
My Facebook fact check is βif some dummy you knew in high school posted it itβs false.β Works pretty well.
After many delays due to not feeling 100% about my painting skill, I finally got my Gabriel Angelos model painted and had my first game of 10th Edition with it to boot.
My totally grown-up response when this happens is just to return fire. So far, nothing bad has happened. So far.
Finished a small Desolation Squad (joint-silliest looking SM models with their t-Shirt cannons), and been trying out using texture paints for bases on my other models.
Still need to do their shoulder transfers, but that'll have to wait until this weekend.
Glad to see Richard Tice taking such care over UK fishing. It is just a shame that neither he nor any of his Reform colleagues could be bothered to show up this afternoon to my debate... on UK fishing.
I was looking into this earlier today while I was on my silly little mental health stroll (working from home in a virtually lightless flat is grand). I'd love to know how effective it is because light boxes look pretty spenny!
I've been given the heads up thst my ACL reconstruction will be in January, which is very exciting as it means I can start the process of getting my life back on track.
Very much longing to be back in the field again!
Finished off these Heavy Intercessors. Up next, Desolation Squad.
I routinely get vibe checked by cadets who think I'm *at least* ten years older than I am
Somewhere between 5-10% (I'm very bad at this)
Brits over on the old app (I say Brits, but Ruzzian trolls isn't off the cards) are just straight up pro-Musk/Putin quislings at this point.
Two down, three to go
This film absolutely doesn't need a live-action remake, but I am thoroughly unprepared to be emotionally bullied by it once again (I can't wait to see it)
Phoebe being what I suppose she believed was a big help at the desk today.
Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
1000 days of Russia's full-scale invasion.
1000 days of death and destruction at Putin's hands.
1000 days of Ukraine's brave resistance.
The UK is standing with Ukraine today and every day.

"We are going to fight for our rural communities. We're gonna fight for farmers, we're gonna fight to stop this family farm tax.
"I have just one ask of you. I want you to continue to do what you are the best in the world at doing: producing high quality food for our country."
- Ed Davey
Chuffed to get my first bit of @saintjavelin.bsky.social merchandise!
Can't wait to pour out a brew in this beast π
I'm helping out the cadets at their shooting competition!
Got to resist going full infantry-brained with the Sea Cadets, mind π
Excuse the window reflections, but God I adore this view (if I go on my tip toes I can also see Fishguard Bay)
Have any of my followers completely turned off the other app yet, or looking to in the near future? If so, what were/are the goalposts for doing so?
I'd quite like to totally withdraw my custom, but there's still too much (content and people) over there that I know I'd miss.
TNG movie. We're having a fancy party, starfleet folks in white dress uniforms are dancing with others in party casual clothes. There's maybe mountains in the background and trees. Beyond the dancing couples is a band playing music, and Data is standing in front, holding a microphone stand at an angle and singing jazzy style. He's holding out an arm and really giving the partygoers the ol' razzle dazzle. Closed caption reads, "π΅ Nothin' but blue skiesπ΅"
5 Space Marine Heavy Intercessors from Warhammer 40K, partially painted and still mostly disassembled.
Might just lean into my full geek side on this site. Anyway, here's my latest 40k WIP.
I tried giving Threads another crack a couple weeks ago, but for some reason it just feels like a really awkward app to use.
Anyway, just hoping I can connect with a decent portion of the same people I did on Twitter.
It took me two and a half days to realise my display name was still the default.
Off to a characteristically good start on this app. π
I think the biggest sign that the time is right to start moving onto this app was seeing a tweet saying 'AH was bad' and the comments section was full of people calling that an extremist view and going through mental gymnastics to defend the man.
Utterly, utterly vile. That's the legacy of Musk.
Welcome! It's like the other place before it took a downward dive.
