A perfect brush can be life changing.
I would love to see more intersectional books with queer characters, bipoc, ace/aro, nonbinary, gender fluid, characters with disabilities, mental health challenges, etc. Basically a wider range of voices.
Having queer Latine rep is very important to me, especially right now bc we need more rep for queer people of color. If readers can either see themselves in my books or can learn something abt others’ experiences, that’s what matters.

I didn’t get as much written on my novella as I’d hoped but I’m still happy that I’ve at least gotten a little something done. My angel book is with an editor so… waiting… 😬

I just discovered two storage tubs full of fabric from my sewing phase. So many projects that I will never do!
By myself for 24 hours for the first time since my son was born (he’s 9). I ate packaged ramen, cut my own hair, and now watching a live stream of a bird feeder and saying “oh, this b!¡ch” bc there’s a dove who’s bullying the other birds away. I’m so out practice being alone.
Don’t beat yourself up. Don’t think of it as unproductive. Rest is really important. It’s self care!
