Letterboxd is down.

Don’t panic people. But it might be time to fill the bathtubs with fresh water and get your hands on some rope for unclear survivalist reasons.

As annoying as it is to say, but if Jayson Tatum can find his feet and rhythm quickly, I think the Celtics could actually win it all this year. Which would be absolutely insane.

Has Adidas chosen the colours BLACK AND TAN for their Dublin sneaker?

They’ve never forgiven O’Neill’s for using the three stripes. Elite shithousery.

You can direct a ball out of play with your elbow as long as your arm is β€˜tucked in’? lol what? #LFC

During the U.S.-Israeli attack in Iran on Saturday, dozens of people, most of them likely children, were killed when a strike hit a girls’ elementary school in Minab and a high school in Tehran, according to Iranian health officials, state media and a human rights group. trib.al/y3MsQLC

*Benicio del Toro, of course. It was early. I was thinking of tacos.

Let’s do it fella

27.02.2026 08:57 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Midnight: Four beers, four tacos
2am: Sleep
6am: Two beers, two tacos
7.30am: Run ten miles
9.30am: Six beers, six tacos
1pm: Six beers, six tacos
4pm: Tactical... expulsion
6pm: six beers, six tacos

Obviously a lot depends on the beers. Guillermo Del Toro, OBAA: Easy. Creamy Beamy: Difficile.

If an institution wishes to provide 'direct routes to employment' it should just set up as an electrician, plumber, tiler...

(Again, my spicy, spicy views are my own.)

University of Galway plans to end and replace arts course amid fall-off in interest β€˜Urgent’ reform aims to meet changing needs of students as they seek β€˜direct routes to employment’

Sorry, but this is an absolutely stunning abdication of the humanities by a university based in a town that trades heavily on the arts: www.irishtimes.com/ireland/educ...

Teenage girl killed in Navan crash named locally The 16-year-old pedestrian killed in Navan at the weekend has been named locally as Mia Lily Keogh O'Keeffe.

Presumably there will be the same outcry about delinquent motorists as there was a few weeks ago about delinquent scramblers & scooters? No? Didn't think so.

FEBRUARY EVENINGS

I begin with a name. It is not you
profiled against an orange skyline.
Nor the light that dazzled me when I opened a door
and realised after, I don't know how long
I stood there holding onto the doorknob, I faced
due west. It is early morning in March
which is the name of nothing I might command
since I may speak only as a temporary resident
of the solar system. It is a February evening
the nights are drawing out and I love you
driving your car so attentive to the hazards of traffic
while I observe the passing skyline which so exactly
defines the way your hair falls onto your shoulders
alert to whatever should show up next.
Where were we going? I don't remember arriving
till I enter a room to see the setting sun
framed in the windows and know that I love you
when you are nowhere present, there is only the light
it sheds about me as I step into the area
where I can speak your name into the silence
which answers me.
