this is why season 1 episode 2 is the BESTTT episode like squid game peaked here. everything is so gritty and melancholic and hopeless in a way that’s so painfully ordinary and i adore it, if the show was just this it’d be a 10/10 idec

i love when a character’s inner world is collapsing in on itself while the outside world is entirely indifferent and moving on like usual… like i think this is the vibe i want for my original story

writing has been fun because it’s given me a feel for the kind of atmosphere and setting i eventually wanna write comics in 🙈 i like moody, gritty urban settings where the world doesn’t really get better, but people find meaning in it anyway… making the best of the shitty cards they’re dealt…
