the fic preview for "heatstroke" from the 'a vow remembered' fe3h boys' love zine. writing by paranatellon, art by cherrypikkins, claude x lorenz. the spot art pictures a profile shot of claude in front of a golden sunset. the preview text reads: “King Khalid.” Lorenz extends his hand. To think Khalid now outranks him, a King, when they were always equals… Across from him, Khalid discards a woollen glove, his bare, warm hand clasping around Lorenz’s. “Why are you being like that, Lorenz? We’re old friends, aren’t we?” The letters faded out first, long before the thoughts stopped spinning, yarn becoming wool on a spindle. Yet, standing before him now, Khalid is more captivating than Lorenz would care to admit. He finds himself agreeing without meaning to, helpless to Khalid’s tricks once more, and the way that mischievous lip-corner pulls up when he realises it too.
