Super embarrassing that the F-15's perfect air combat record was ended by friendly fire. And its all because Trump and Hegseth are incompetent dipshits.
Turns out we have rules and procedures for a fucking reason.

There seems to be water falling from the sky. Is this that thing rain I keep hearing about? #COWX
Nathan Fillion has posted two videos now with Firefly cast mates teasing that they are doing something and that its time AND HOLY SHIT ARE WE GETTING MORE FIREFLY!??!?
That was fast
For reasons unknown to me I've had the Top Gun soundtrack on repeat the last week and hot take: Mighty Wings is a better song than Danger Zone.
Pano shot of a frozen river with fog and mountains in the background at dawn.
This might be one of my favorite shots from the Grand Teton trip. It was cold as crap, but it was the most peaceful place I've ever been. Just me, the wind, and the creak of the ice on the river.
I loved the Mandalorian and Grogu trailer. 22 May can't get here fast enough
Black and white photo of trees in the foreground, the Snake River in the mid ground, and Grand Teton in the background.
Still learning how to use a real light meter but holy crap I love this photo I took of Grand Teton and the Snake River with my Hasselblad 501 c/m
I just finished a re-watch of Top Gun and just started Top Gun Maverick and hot take; the F/A-18 is cooler than the F-14.
And the F-15 is cooler than them all.
Its one of those days where I just want to post something very vague or a cryptic song lyric just like MySpace circa 2005.
"It's no surprise to me, I am my own worst enemy"
Jackson itself was fairly clear. The further north you went the deeper the snow was and the more on the roads. Up by Oxbow Bend probably at least a foot.
I spent the last few days up in Jackson Hole exploring Grand Teton finally and was super surprised about how warm it was here when I got home a little while ago. Traded out my merino wool for shorts and sandals.
I didnโt know I needed Rizzo the rat singing Blinding Lights in my life.
And its gone
Its always something with the LH2. Tricky little bastard. #artemisII
Just saw a trailer for the 35th anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and now I feel old.
Now, I'm no expert, I've only worked 12 launches and am gearing up for a 13th, but I'm pretty sure thats not how payload sep is supposed to go.

Mornings like this make it hard to remember why I thought moving back to Colorado from Florida was a good idea. Its cold!
Its always good for a laugh, especially the early seasons
I've been rewatching episodes of M*A*S*H.
It just occurred to me that I'm on call right now and if anything happens to our birds while this fun space weather is happening, its my ass who gets to go deal with it, so yay?
The sun is screaming and thus I'm getting my camera gear ready to hopefully shoot some aurora tonight!
So Trump didn't get a Nobel Peace Prize and now he's throwing a temper tantrum on a global scale? Why the fuck does anyone on the right respect this dipshit? What a bunch of children
Its hard to be excited about Artemis when our country is rotting, but there is a tiny bit of me excited to see SLS rolling to the pad again.
This is the first time I've had film digitized. Previously I developed and printed on my own. Since I wanted digital too I had Mike's Camera in Boulder CO do the work. I'll need to do some digging for a good setup at some point.
These aren't even prints, just scans of the negatives. I think at least some of the flaws are from it being film that expired in 2017. But I agree that it adds something unique to them. I like that they aren't "perfect"
For anyone curious; these were all shot with a Nikon F3 on Kodak Tri-X 400
The monorail at disney world in black and white
Cinderella's Castle at Disney World in black and white
I kind of love this shot
Spaceship Earth at Disney World on Black and White Film
Disney World shot on expired B&W film might be my new favorite thing. #photography
