If you want a really weird one, try Horrorstor
I love a haunting! Or Ghosts, or paranormal! This would be right up my alley! This is not a book, but I liked the Presence. I like my best friend's exorcism. Though, I liked an awful lot of Grady Hendrix's writing. I really liked Horrid. I'm really excited to see more ghost stories come out.
Developmental and Copy/line editing is 50% off right now! That means Developmental edits that are 50k words were $750, but are now $375! Costs are USD. #writerssky
You can't have disabled characters in fantasy, you say? *Points to awesome fantasy characters with disabilities.* www.aealexander.com/blog/do-disa... #Reading #Fantasy #Disability #DisabilityRep
For the next few months, my time is pretty dedicated to #RevPit
But I am still hoping to make time for writing.
Yesterday, I was working on rewriting a short story. I am not done with it yet, but I have nearly tripled its original word count so far!

No problem!!
Good morning #RevPit! Iβm here for my #MeettheEditor session π
About me: Iβm a writer, editor, and associate literary agent at Storm Literary Agency.
Iβm also a cozy gamer, beginner crocheter, and rarely have the same color hair week to week
The word count is not necessarily a deal breaker. I am open to fantasy. And I am open to dark romance, definitely more on the horror romance spectrum. But I am requesting fantasy that is based a little bit more in real life. You can always sub though, and see what happens! You never know.
#RevPit pro tip:
If you missed an editor's #MeetTheEditor chat, you can still @ them with questions about their MSWLs, RevPit, or whatever else
Good morning #writingcommunity! (It is still morning, right?)
Welcome to my #RevPit #MeettheEditor thread!
Please feel free to ask me questions about what I'm reading, how I edit, my #MSWL or any other questions you might have.

Hi #WritingCommunity! Welcome to my #RevPit #MeetTheEditor thread. Feel free to ask questions at any time (if I don't get to them today, I will tomorrow). I had a computer incident earlier (OneDrive deleted my Documents & it took my hubby hours to fix), so I lost my prep time & this may be choppy.
Unfortunately, the book world has gotten this way. But I can guarantee to you that you can have main characters who are younger than your Genre is written for. King does it all the time.
I love the sound of this. I think dystopian should be hopeful, especially in some cases... Dystopian literally just means coming up on the end of the world, or post end of the world. I like either of these.
No problem! I'm lurking for a couple of hours anyway
Also, you can have young adult characters, and the book can be adult.
Yes, I would be able to let you know whether or not it should go more YA, or more adult. Generally, this is not very hard to do. Also, both markets for horror are doing pretty well right now.... Now I really hope you sub this to me!
But yes, if it doesn't have a vibe like this, or something very dark and similar, I probably wouldn't be the best bet.
Liane Moriarty is a good example of what I'm looking for. Especially 9 perfect strangers. Essentially, something weird is going on. It feels like they're being tested on. Obviously, because they are. It feels like it could end up starting a cult.
