Broken and battered and covered in swarf, an original Herbert Terry mini anglepoise lamp with years of patina.
Now sat in my garage, to be cleaned and re-wired and brought back into service.
Treasure.

Japanese onomatopoeia is very cute. My faves are ガブガブ (gabu gabu) gulping a drink ピューピュー (pyuu pyuu) strong wind ピーポー (piipoo) police car noise and the cartoonish ラブラブ— (raburabu) head over heels in love. Morning!

Scottish Opera offers hugely discounted tickets to people under the age of 26. In fact most of the theatres here do, usually for around £10. Which means you could see a whole live show for less than the cost of a ticket to one of Timothee Chalamet’s films. Just saying.
