Supergiant Games is a studio at the peak of its powers, and Hades II is a phenomenal improvement upon what was already one of the greatest indie games ever made.

Death Stranding 2 is a breathtaking game. A treatise on human nature, love and loss, and an experience I will not soon forget.
Should we have connected? The simple answer is that we have no choice.

Clair Obsur: Expedition 33 is a truly exceptional game on all fronts, and a new gold standard for RPGs - a phenomenal achievement for a studio's debut game

Not a masterpiece by any means, but man I had so much fun with this. Great characters, great exploration, decent story - what more could you want?
This series was crazy underrated
10 years ago this week, I started work on Tunic. The game wouldn't have been the success it was without LGBTQ+ folks, both devs and players.
So, I'm matching donations to Trans Lifeline. If you can spare $5 (or more!) reply with your donation and I'll X2 it. Thank you! ๐

Dumb little game where you play chess against a cheating troll, great (and sometimes infuriating) fun considering it's only a couple of quid, thanks to Razbuten's latest video for putting me onto it

Wish I could say nosferatu would be my first film of 2025, but someone decided to watch gods of egypt at 2am last night
It really goes to show what an incredible year for indies it's been that my top 10 is dominated by them, and there are still so many I never got around to playing
Finally decided on my GOTY list for 2024:
1. Balatro
2. 1000xRESIST
3. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
4. Mouthwashing
5. Tactical Breach Wizards
6. Tekken 8
7. Indika
8. Nine Sols
9. Children of the Sun
10. Dragon's Dogma 2
The top 4 are basically interchangeable - all GOTY-worthy in my opinion
Feel like I've been playing stuff nonstop recently and still nowhere near covered everything
the race to play and finish astro bot, mouthwashing and mullet mad jack before the end of the year is on and boy I am bad at racing
