Welcome to Friday, there was a beautiful pink sky that lasted for about 30 minutes before the clouds moved in. I did not get out for my hike this morning as I had an early breakfast meeting with a client who flew in from Montreal.

Justice must be pursued relentlessly, no matter how powerful the accused. We owe it to the victims — and to our collective conscience — to ensure their voices are heard and their lives are rebuilt with dignity and support. No one should ever be above accountability.

Absolutely heartbreaking to read, Mitch. The idea that a sitting president could be implicated in such predatory and violent behaviour toward young girls is sickening. These are not just political scandals — they’re human tragedies that leave deep and lasting scars on victims and their families.
