Our textbooks no longer have any room for Ahmaud’s story, nor the stories of countless others who have been ground down under the boots of white supremacy, so we’ll need to make our own books in which to write their names.

You could try tensioning differently when you purl, a different ‘style’ of purl. Always a favorite….use a larger needle for purling. If you are using interchangeable needles you can put what works for knitting on one end and what you need for purling on the other end. Hope this helps.
