As a coffee snob I now know how wine snobs feel about boxed wine people.
As a coffee addict, I now know the attraction box wine has to wine drinkers.

I'm confused about the whole thinking about the Roman Empire thing. I studied classical archeology in college. I literally relate everything back to Classical Antiquity. Not just Roman, but Persian and Hellenic as well. So, am I an outlier, or the problem?

Everything can't always be perfect. I just realized a presentation I have given dozens of times has the term "Imperial Evidence" when I meant "Empirical Evidence," and no one has ever caught it, or at least never pointed it out.

Jane Goodall died. I read her National Geographic articles as a child. She was one of my major inspirations to study Anthropology. I only got to meet her a few times, on her speaking tours, but I feel like I've lost a mentor. I will miss knowing she is out there advocating for the natural world.
