Rav is perfectly capable of wielding Shield and Longsword as a Paladin, and the aesthetics also match, but the dogma towards protection is less interesting in every way than most other jobs.

She can do it, she just doesn't want to.

She's late not because she wants everyone to notice her arrival, she's late because she was waiting for croissants to finish cooling and she honestly likes Croissants more than most events or people...

Rav's also late because she's busy, not because she postures for social climbing. She deeply disdains people who arrive 'fashionably late' so they can be noticed or greeted by everyone.

Rav is generally on time, more so if it is something she is actually interested in, or if there are people there she actually likes. It's rare for her to be late, it's far more likely if the event is something she doesn't want to do, she just won't show up.

Rav used to keep her hair extremely elegantly coiffed as many viera do. Then she got annoyed at it and chopped it with a knife into a series of messy bangs.

Now it's grown out a little bit again and she keeps it as a thick Braid in the back so it's out of the way.
