I always feel just a lil bit sad when Halloween season is done. I love the spooky vibes and seeing everything caked in scary decorations... it's always just a lil bittersweet seeing it all go down.

Two studies of different grotesques. The one in the upper right portion of the page is a smooth, lizard-like, and generally typically gargoyle-shaped creature, with a somewhat leonine face. It is drawn with yellow, pink and blue highlighter overlayed with each of as shading, and heavy black pen hatching in the darkest shadows, and as sketchy line art. The second grotesque in the lower left is more overtly feline, and is drawn with a yellow/orange/red magic pencil, along with the same style of black pen shading and line art. Both grotesques are depicted with their mouths open, though the first almost seems to be smiling, while the second has a more serious expression.
