When Isolde was shattered, her power as queen went to him as the next in line for the throne of the Underworld! He now wields that magic (in her name), so yes the flowers and whatnot in the VFX are part of the Underworld's power. That (& his determination for vengeance/love) helped V come back
no it's totally fine! It was more the swords were so powerful that their combined might managed to do it, as a radical desperate act of the knights. (I will get to your other question too one moment lol)
Each one wielded in their treasonous act. So he wants to take back their swords in order both get revenge and also to try and reclaim what is left of her, so that he might take her soul into himself and never be parted from his beloved again. ❤️
There is only one Queen, she is this AU's Isolde! She was Queen of the Underworld, a goddess of death who he (a mortal king) fell deeply in love with and married, becoming King of the Underworld, too. When the knights betrayed Viego, they killed him and shattered her soul into the blades
It is because of the sword mechanic, we wove it into the narrative! He is a king who was betrayed by his own knights, each knight falling into a general "class" archetype. He perceives the enemy he is fighting as whichever knight of that class betrayed him, and so interacts with them accordingly.

ICE picked a hotel in Pasadena to be their headquarters for this side of the city. The residents of Pasadena (myself included) would not stand for this and protested all yesterday in front of the hotel until, eventually, the hotel kicked out ICE!!
