Thank you! I get confused about jonquils versus daffodils, and I'm happy to have the name of that cultivar!

Me too! It made me happy. ๐
Fluffy white clouds in a blue sky, with treetops at bottom center and bottom right.
I really cannot overemphasize the fact that it's a sunny day and there's no water falling from the sky. ๐
Sunlit plants with narrow green leaves and downward-facing white flowers. Ivy on the ground nearby, and part of a stone wall in the background.
Small daffodil plants in a rather untidy bed. The flowers have yellow petals and darker yellow trumpets.
Snowdrops and jonquils. (I think those are jonquils.)
Correction to alt text: white pine on the right. Sigh. My apologies.
Dark clouds on the left and hazy blue sky on the right, with the peak of a roof at lower right. The sun is behind the clouds near image center.
Also not raining.
Hazy blue sky with clouds. In the foreground, the top of a tulip poplar, with part of a white pine on the left.
Friday's sky. Note that it's not raining!
Intricately patterned clouds in a blue sky.
Another sky from yesterday.
It's good to look. ๐
I can see why.
This is gorgeous! I especially love all the buds (I think those are buds) backlit by the setting sun at lower left.
On a beach at Lake Monroe, in south-central Indiana. It's common to see them around here, but there were quite a lot of them on this particular beach. I'd never seen so many in one place.
Thank you! And thanks for the repost. ๐
That is cool!
Right! And I tend to think of the longer fossils as being like little bits of stem. But next time I'll try to describe them properly. ๐ Maybe this will help me remember.
Thank you for the correction! I kinda know that but I keep forgetting.
A cloudy sky with a lot of texture is reflected in the water of a lake. On the shore, a small shrub and a couple of very small patches of snow.
Reflected sky.
A lake with waves approaching the shore; the waves appear as light and dark ripples. There's a small shrub on the beach near lower left. The sky is mostly cloudy.
Waves from the passage of a motorboat.
Several large rocks and many small rocks, also some dried oak leaves, mostly at lower right. Embedded in the surfaces of the larger rocks are fossil crinoids, which look like washers of various sizes, or little stacks of washers. They're the fossilized remains of plants that lived on the floor of a long-ago inland sea in North America.
So many fossil crinoids.
Blue sky with clouds that melt into the blue. Also a lake, with a rocky dirt beach in the foreground and a tree on the left, with some other vegetation along the bottom of the frame and on the right.
Saturday's sky.
The tall tree on the left is casting its shadow onto a building of light-colored stone. Parts of the tree are also reflected from the bottom row of three windows.
A tree with its shadow and its reflection.
A beech leaf at upper left is backlit by sunlight. It lies in a bed of fallen beech and oak leaves. Most of the leaves are showing some wear and tear, but the backlit leaf is in fairly good shape.
Backlit beech leaf.
You're welcome, and thank you for that wonderful description!
Blue sky with small clouds near the horizon. The clouds are reflected in a lake, which is bounded on the near side by a gravel beach and on the far side by a low ridge.
Thursday's sky.
Three large round pipes in a grassy embankment; the pipes empty into a stream, and they're reflected in the water. There's a building and trees in the background, with a large tree just to the left of the water. Late-afternoon shadows cross the grass.
I walk past these culverts all the time, but today I noticed them.
Trees and a cloudy sky are reflected in a creek that runs horizontally through the center of the image. Flat stone blocks appear on one side of the creek (lower right). The top half of the image shows a grassy field with trees and a sidewalk. The late-afternoon sun casts shadows across the grass.
Reflections.
A waxing gibbous moon at the center of the image is framed by wavy lines of gossamer clouds.
Wednesday's moon.
Clouds in a blue sky, many small and/or wispy clouds with a lot of fine detail. The waxing gibbous moon is visible as a speck in a small blue opening in the clouds near upper right. Tree branches on the left.
Wednesday's sky.
A sky full of tightly packed gray cotton-ball clouds. Treetops and parts of roofs along the bottom of the photo.
Tuesday's sky.
Blue sky after sunset with dark gray clouds tinged with pink. Treetops and part of a roof along the bottom of the photo.
Monday's sunset.
