Perhaps the secret to giving good feedback on other people's writing is to quit saying what you want it to be and instead say simply what it is, what you perceive on the page in front of you.

I think part of the problem is the audience lacks understanding of what therapy actually is. Which is tied to a lack of understanding that a reason for bad behavior isn't the same thing as carte blanche for a character to never face consequences for it. π§΅
there's a bill to make the Italian beef IL's official state sandwich, fuck that horseshoe sandwich
this is the kind of legislative glory I want from IL
the Italian beef is a fantastic sandwich, no lie, and deserves the official state sandwich designation
But now I want to read that mega-crossover, and it was Usenet so it's probably gone forever.
I might've read it back in the day.
But I really want to read it NOW.
Orko?

What the actual fuck, WGN.
And I note the union steward "just happened" to be one of the laid off roles. What a stunning coincidence. π‘
I don't know what your definition of "too big" is, but Galen Leather has a number of differently-sized notebooks. Maybe one will work for you. I've had a lot of luck with them and their shipping is fantastic, even from Turkey to the US.
Tomoe River is still the gold standard for ink properties, but Cosmo and Life Paper are good, Midori is too. Clairefontaine and Leuchtturm are decent, but not as much as the other four.
The stone paper idea was meant well, but that's made of abrasive material and will wear down your nib long-term.
Stone paper is great for swatching and seeing your ink properties, but it's made from stone so it's not good for regular fountain pen writing. It's made from a material that's going to grind down your nib.
Wait, wait, will there actually be a season two? MY FEELS
GORGEOUS
I knew you have a good wife but also that specific action is fantastic. As is that company. WOW.
This seems like so much WORK.
Me: Oh new fic featuring this insanely rare f/f pairing!
Also Me (within 30 seconds): Oh damnit, someone does not understand at least half of this insanely rare f/f pairing.
I'll probably read it anyway and complain the entire time.
All of which are perfectly good reasons!
My current project is mitered squares. Ridiculously easy.
My abusive ex lied to all our mutual high school friends and so he got them in the breakup. I'm really only in Facebook-level touch with a few who weren't mutual friends with us both
Unwelcome is chock full of triggers (it's folk horror, after all), but it has Hannah John-Kamen of Killoys AND Jamie-Lee O'Donnell of Derry Girls and how can you go wrong with that casting?
You cannot. You really cannot.
I feel like knitting falls under the 'is it work' or 'is it relaxing' line? (This is not me citing ANY halachic authority obvs. Or even giving advice! This is me making personal decisions for me. I do a lot of 'is it X or Y personal decision making.)
This is one of the many reasons I adore you. Not everyone understands waking up from a fugue state* surrounded by dozens of encyclopedias after having traveled from one reference to another.
*Not a real fugue state, thank you Death of Irony.
no I completely agree, I do not understand this at all
omfg I tried to go to a new coffee place and they didn't open until NINE
I just want a goddamn non-big chain non-Starbucks option to run to before work
oh man I love netchoice. I wish I worked at / for / owned a social media company so I could support them. I can only applaud from a distance!
for my laugh is a bitter laugh
Pair it with a latte and some avocado toast and you can have multi-generational financial shaming!
Consumer Reports did a lovely breakdown of exactly how this works and also alternatives. Just so you have all your informative ducks in a row -

I'm so glad you're going back to writing!
GODDAMNIT
I...am not surprised. But poor Mr. Poisontaster!
I've stress baked scones and I've got Italian bread coming in a few hours
Hot damn! But where have you told the tale? I want to hear!
