Still scarred from when we tried to buy cute gnome stickers.

[haunted voice] I have seen so many butts where butts should not be

an under appreciated aspect of being a children's librarian in 2026: the amount of time we spend sorting through stickers we bought for scavenger hunt prizes because so many of them are wildly inappropriate for kids

It is Saturday! I'm at work today and we've had a wild morning, based on the sheer number of families who have been here since, like, 9:30. Otherwise, this has actually been a pretty nice week overall & I'm starting a pottery class on Monday. How are you?

1) thank goodness for coffee
2) last night I sliced an avocado in front of a friend's kid & he dramatically gasped when I opened it
3) rain on the backyard pond
