Every time I'm in the streets I hear GYOK GYOK GYOK GYOK
Jannik. New York. Jannik. New York. Jannik. New York. (Emphasis on the -nik)
Noooo! Best player in the world!
A free idea to impress Art on an upcoming Handbrake Off for @adrianjclarke.bsky.social @ianstonecomedy.bsky.social or @amylawrence.bsky.social , whenever GyΓΆkeres gets his first goal, choose as your song "m.A.A.d. City" by Kendrick Lamar, where his onomatopoeia for shots is "yawk" (GyΓΆk)
And Kai too? What a day! Now do Madueke!
Every time I'm in the streets I hear GYOK GYOK GYOK GYOK

Tross baby!
After striker, in what position would you spend the most for reinforcements this summer?
Defense was good but wow we cannot refund
This is the best the Jayhawks have looked since the Iowa State game. If we could stay with Cryer we could win this thing. Old fashioned Big 12 rock right of a game. First time I've enjoyed this Kansas team in a while.
Oliver Scarles sounds made up, like a Japanese video game version of an English footballer's name
Nice to see Merino up top, hope he can last the 90, excited to see his interpretation of the role
This has to be the worst Bill Self Kansas team right?
Ah but, Arsenal 5-1 City
πππ Nostradamus?
So Merino at 9 and Sterling to the bench until Martinelli returns yes?
Alright Arse-sky, backs against the wall, we get through it together #COYG
πΆ Who put the ball in City's net? Half our fuckin team did πΆ

I just think this is a pretty different game from the one he learned. Tony Bennett and Jay Wright seemingly concluded they just didn't want to play it - I am starting to suspect Self wants to do it but his skills are not as elite in this version of college basketball.
It's hard not to look at Self, the talent is obviously there. How much has NIL changed the game? Hard to know how the chemistry inside the locker room has changed but I could believe the old methods might hit different these days
Kansas has had worse teams than this, I think, but not sure I've seen a more frustrating one
