Iโm going to add to this. School drop off and pick up car traffic / lines have become bonkers. Nothing like skipping the line on a cargo bike and pulling right up to the door. It sure when those lines became a thing but definitely the number one selling point.

So true! Riding to and from school on a cargo bike with my four year old twins weโve seen javelina, quail and coyotes. Additional bonus is you have a way better view of cranes.

Iโve just decided to embrace it. Low-stakes cheating, like e-bikes or old school video game cheat codes, are harmless and extremely fun.
I second the opinion about NA Guinness. As far as athletic goes, run wild was the first NA beer I tried that fell into the โif someone handed my a glass of this I probably wouldnโt know this is non alcoholicโ. Some of their other options are tastier but run wild still feels like a magic trick.

Here is my two cents. Find something you can get serviced reasonably close to where you live, that has a decent warranty and is in your budget. If you enjoy research feel free to knock yourself out on forums, but otherwise donโt stress too hard, get an ebike and enjoy!

If I had the money I would probably get a Tern, but donโt let that stop you from getting an ebike. Hub motors are fine (and specially if they have a torque sensor like the abound) and itโs hard to over state how fun e-bikes are in general to ride. Good luck and have fun!
Iโve had it a couple of months and put 500 miles on it, all commuting to and from work, preschool, running errands etc. One flat tire so far (slow leak, caught it in the AM). Overall itโs been a solid bike.
I bought it through a local bike shop so they set it up and made sure it was good to go (also according to Reddit it is easier to get warranty repairs through a shop). So far no issues
After much back and forth I ended up with an Aventon Abound. Reasonably priced, good dealer/service network and ticked most of the boxes.
If only it was just a bike problemโฆ
