Also want to point out that two non-white boys, at least one who had none of the advantages the wealthy white boys had to pursue the sport & become good, just raw talent, were terrorized out of a sport they hoped to pursue to greatness. Then white men claim to dominate everything.

These are the people who call women too sensitive & ruled by emotion. Women opting out is only a harm to men who feel entitled to own human beings. The way men define harm to themselves, while dismissing their abuse of women, continues to outline why women aren't safe. And why they should opt out.

But this is why I don't trust NeverTrumpers. Most are conservatives who want to get back to pushing the same harmful ideology that brought us Trump without the carnival barker that exposed the rot beneath the facade of decency conservatives used to feign.
This sort of tone policing of women that we can't mock their misogynistic ideology by applying it to them is just more misogyny. Women are not responsible for patriarchal women, men are.

Patriarchy conditions us all into toxic roles. Only those who like those roles & hope to benefit from them get angry & defensive when they're analyzed so we can all be free of this system.
And before another man gets defensive, if this doesn't describe, truly doesn't describe you, you should take pride in having resisted patriarchal conditioning instead of seeking to shame women into remaining silent about what you claim to have rejected.
Similar to why men hate "promiscuous" women. A woman who says yes denies a conqueror his conquest. Which is why women are shamed to provide resistance. And why men become cruel, less attentive after they've achieved what they wanted. And why men deny rape so their conquests aren't stigmatized.
Men do not want submissive women. They want to break women into being submissive. They may choose a submissive woman because patriarchy says that is the ideal woman but they ultimately aren't fun for men. There's little victory in immediate surrender.
She's done such important work not only in bringing attention to power imbalances but also bullying & social misogyny that protects powerful men, destroys their victims.
Patriarchal conditions men to be conquerors, which results in men wanting to "conquer" women & be the first to plant their flag. It's why submission cannot save women as men will only become crueler to obtain "wins," & why men pursue women who have had no previous "conquerors" &/or are resistant.
But I am not describing "nutty" men or "some" men who have personally harmed me. I am describing a common phenomenon due to patriarchal conditioning. And men who want to continue to benefit from patriarchy defend it by pretending there is no problem, women just pick bad apples.
The reason men do this is an attempt to shame women into silence by suggesting we're the problem. We must be picking bad men to have a negative opinion, as opposed to describing a systemic issue enforced & perpetrated by men. They individualize systemic issues to blame the victims.
