Kind of hard to to say "It's not the tarrifs WE implemented, its the war WE started".

Really, you don’t think you’d vote for him over Susan Collins? Just curious, not accusatory. Personally feel like I’d support ANY Dem over her, especially given the need to flip Maine

Guess we got to get housing built somehow!

This is going to be terrible for traffic there lol, I drive through everyday. I wish we could have more dense housing near transit. Cute horses that graze there, sad that they’ll be gone

My name is Mary Peltola, and I'm running for U.S. Senate to fight for fish, family, and freedom – and that begins with fixing the rigged system in DC that’s shutting down Alaska.

We need systemic change if we're going to lower costs, save our fisheries, and fill our homes with abundance again.

I mean Talarico does not have the name recognition she has, so I am hopeful this can at least go to a runoff where polls will show her losing by a ton to any R

Crockett would cause heavy downballot losses, there's a reason Republicans recruited her to run

Not to mention Texas isn’t even a battleground it’s a reach state.

All the swing state Senate Democrats that won in 24‘ ran an extremely moderate coded campaign. So would JC if she won the primary except it’s much harder to pivot with her history. Republicans have nominated extreme partisans in most battleground senate races the last few years and that didn’t work

The highly partisan politician is not going to win in a state where Trump easily won 2020-2024

Jack has done nothing to separate himself from Trump and Trump is quite unpopular. AND it’s a blue year!

A lot of "we will consider this bill" and a heck less messaging ones. Do they actually pass a partisan immigration bill? Probably not.

I was pleasantly surprised by how mild it was. Just a rainy day

I'm quite upset at the incumbents in MD and IL, who are unwilling to self sacrifice even a little bit to help fight this. Same with OR.

Plus this gets the Epstein File vote petition to the magic number of 218

what are your thoughts on the subsidies? On one hand going to hurt a lot of people if they expire, on the other it hands Trump a big win if they pass and potentially hurts Dem efforts in midterms

Not seeing as many Sherrill signs as I saw Harris signs in November in pretty liberal Princeton. I think she squeaks by but most shore areas seem pretty excited for Jack

I'm so confused with what is going on with the economy. Is everything okay? Is everything about to collapse?

I expect Reps to throw some money at these races but booking this far in advance both saves money for Dems due to ad rates and helps to drag down Republicans

Chris Murphy goes all in on funding bill boycott as Dems seek bipartisanship The politically ambitious Connecticut Democrat is walking away from bipartisan government funding negotiations as his party clamors for a seat at the table.

@chrismurphyct.bsky.social has got it exactly right. No point in bipartisan spending bills if Rs are going to let Trump decide what gets implemented or not. Can't shut down the government for ever but at least could demand full release of Epstein files or something. www.politico.com/news/2025/08...

You think they can outlast the Tx legislature? Heard they'd have to stay until December to kill the new maps. Ofc idk if Reps have different abilities at their disposal
