Last but not least I think it was amazing to see my Asian friends experience and explore their first European con! They loved every bit of it! In fact I have never talked to so many first timers before, Europeans, Americans, Asians, and everybody was blown away. Thank you #NFC2026, you were amazing!
patrol the con floor several times. This is just standard procedure at big events in Sweden. I was however surprised to see they went through the fursuit lounge! But they were very curious and interacting friendly with attendees. It made me feel like we mattered in a way, an assuring presence.
Interacting with locals was also nice. I hear good stories from the bar personnel at the Clarion. People smiled at us in suit in the street. Lots of kids came to visit the Open House which is great. I know this is a big difference from other places in the world, but the local Swedish police came to
fursuiting this time! I got so many compliments, not just the suit, but also for my posing, the outfit I had. Last year I was still a little bit "green" in the suit as it was only the second con I had it. Also @jackytherat.bsky.social feetpaws also enabled me to dance and run around without fear.
Con recap: so NFC this year for me was a real breath of fresh air from the normie life. It was probably one of the better cons I have ever had. I met so many new people this year it was insane. A bit sad the parade didn't go through, but hey you can't control the weather. I had so much fun...
The stage work, the acts, the presentation was all marvelous!! Hats off to #NFC2026 this was a really great closing ceremony.
