A thought from this past week... May we live in a world where the level of outrage and anger generated by a gun barrel eliminating the life of a young child matches that of Cracker Barrel eliminating the image of an elderly man.

You absolutely could not make this sh#* up!!! As a writer, I tell my agent we couldn't submit the Trump story, even as fiction, as no editors would consider it believable. In addition, they'd reject it for having no redeemable characters that readers would like.

Fun fact: The main character here is the brother of the main character in Does a Bulldozer Have a Butt. And K-Fai modeled that main character after my then-young daughter, and the dad after me. 🙂

My coffee came alive in the morning light... I spotted a variety of mist figures, from Nessie to a snail to a Phoenix to a man in cowboy boots diving in! 😄

I tweak this each year, and change the final verse to be current-events related...
