Thank you for sharing. ๐
New house/garden - excited to see first Blackcap (female) today, followed by 9 L-T-tits (incl 1 with stumpy tail). Can't wait to see what turns up once we put a pond/native hedging/ meadow in!
More than 4 out of 10 insect species face extinction. Others are declining badly. We can help in our gardens and community spaces by not being too tidy, planting nectar-rich flowers & trees, and not using weedkillers and pesticides. More: bit.ly/2FCEJYz
We're losing wildlife. Frogs, butterflies, bumblebees, hedgehogs, moths, bats, insects, birds are all declining. But if more of us take positive actions for biodiversity in our gardens, communities, landscapes and towns, we can help nature bounce back. Who's in?
Really pleased to have found my first Purbeck ring ouzel this afternoon on the south side of Challow Hill (Corfe Castle) - before it was disturbed by a dog.

Lovely afternoon at Brands Bay on rising tide. Highlight was seeing a cattle egret being mobbed by a little egret. Thanks to @dbirder.bsky.social for the photos.
My first Purbeck wryneck! With thanks to James and @StAldhelmsBirder.
