Saddened to learn today of Martin Karplusβ passing over the weekend. He was an absolute luminary and founding force in computational chemistry and biophysics. His influence will be felt for many generations of scientists. May he rest in peace.

Born in 1942 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Fraser Stoddart went on to leave a lasting impression on the scientific landscape, setting a high bar for how science should be conducted and influencing generations with his unwavering enthusiasm.
Not 1 but 2 great losses to the community! RIP Prof. Martin Karplus.
At first I thought there was confusion with Sir Fraser, but was just confirmed by the ISIS institute in Strasbourg, where I was until 1 year ago.
Le pire c est qu on en redemande ππ€
Congratulations Amparo!
