Ha ha, don't think so. Greens are ahead of/level with Labour in every other recent poll.

23 year old Ruben Ray Martinezβs last words? βIβm sorry sirβ.
ICE shot him 3 times and killed him.
Renee Goodβs last words? βItβs ok Iβm not madβ.
Alex Prettiβs last words? βAre you ok?β
These are the people DHS calls domestic terrorists. Threats. Aggressors.
Abolish ICE
It doesnβt matter whether the rate of global warming is increasing. Itβll never cease to amaze me that people donβt care that itβs happening at all. It should be the most alarming thing ever.
Scene from Tarkovsy's Nostalghia. A woman is saying to a man "Believe me, not only am I a good translator, I even improve upon the original."
It me.

Pretty humiliating for the Art of the Deal guy.
GB News loses Β£22m, taking their total losses to over Β£130m. Except it's not a 'loss', it's an investment by Paul Marshall in providing a propaganda service to platform right wing grifters, gobshites, conspiracy nutters and contrarian fuckwits.

-- J.S. Mill, Of the Stationary State (1848)
What he means by "involved" is that he wants bribes and payment to back a particular faction like he did with Venezuelan oil, the proceeds of which are sitting in private bank accounts in the UAE.
There's no reason for Iran to attack NATO nation Turkeyβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
There's no reason for Iran to attack a UK base in Cyprusβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
Now Azerbaijan has been attacked. Iran denies involvement.
I think this is Israel.
But don't accept my explanationsβuse elementary-school logic. If Iran had fired these drones with intention, it'd be counter to that intention to subsequently deny doing it. It'd be *proud* to say it did it.
And there'd be evidence the drones were fired *from Iran*. There isn't.
Just thinking about what we could do with a billion dollars a day that doesnβt include bombing people.
And as someone who closely monitors both websites I can assure you that X is a right wing radicalization pipeline, including for people who consider themselves smart and progressive, while Bluesky is just an overwhelming left leaning platform. Those are very different things.
ok so thatβs confirmed the UK government are rug pulling my ILR and citizenship from me at the ten year mark. so thatβs another 3 years and Β£3-Β£7,000. if you voted for Labour i hope you never sleep again π
Israel exporting its Gaza playbook to the schoolgirls of Iran
A small girl wearing a rabbit costume and blue coat carries a book as she walks to school. Her mother (head out of shot) wheels her baby brother along in a pushchair. The baby says "Peter Rabbit may be the 'Hero' of the story, but surely the obedient, widowed Mrs Rabbit is a more effective symbol of the oppression inherent within Mister McGregor's regime" The girls looks furious and snaps "Mum!! He's critiquing my world book day costume from a marxist perspective again!"
A cartoon reminder that tomorrow is World Book Day (In the UK anyway). Originally for the @theguardian.com
Let me see if I get this straight: the 'f*ck your feelings' crowd went to war with Iran based on....feelings? Got it.
Mediaβs pro-Western bias is often blatant, sometimes subtle but always omnipresent.
Below is an example of the latter.
Does state repression of peaceful climate protest scare people off from engaging in activism, or does it galvanise them into doing more?
Governments, I bring bad news

A tweet from the Daily Mail with a headline saying "Four biblical signs the world has entered the end of days as US bombs Iran
This perfectly illustrates my point that the British tabloids are aiming at a US audience. There like 5 people in the UK who think about this. But it is huge among US evangelicals.
British politicians need to ignore UK tabloids, as UK tabloids are talking to an audience in the US for clicks.
A very rare sighting of a vertebrate.

Couldn't happen to a nicer person.
Oh thank goodness, I was afraid he didn't have a plan.
Sorry, now 150 schoolgirls confirmed dead.
www.theguardian.com/world/2026/m...
Dear Guardian, if you humanise these victims of war (by the way, which war?) why not humanise the 100 schoolgirls killed in an Israeli-US airstrike? Or the thousands of Gazans now starving to death because there's a new Israeli blockade?
My tip to make washing machines last years longer is to fix them in a space so tightly that they can't vibrate when spinning. It's the vibration that loosens parts and shortens the lifespan.
