I spend most of my ARMY time on X and have for years. What I’ve seen recently isn’t disagreement about values, but confusion about practice.

My piece isn’t saying one position is rare or wrong. It’s offering space to reflect on where you personally land when norms feel messy or contradictory.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. It's a tricky situation to rectify. I just hope it doesn't come down to action finally taken because of a serious incident involving the public figures, the people who turn up to see them or a random member of the public who just got caught up in it.

Just not at an airport, for all the reasons discussed in the linked writing. People can't cope with nuanced grey which is why we are seeing so many issues today and yesterday at airports.

Please do. I've had a similar reaction from quite a few people now. I think many people were struggling with the promo aspect of the whole mess but it's clear from the blatant privacy violations of the last couple of days that this argument doesn't stand at all.

I'm seriously gobsmacked at seeing photos/vids taken without the members' consent, in places where people shouldn't be, on every single available platform. What's truly sickening is the number of people hyping the stalkers. This is not ARMY behaviour. We have etiquette in place to protect BTS.
