FC Tokyo announce they are merging with Nadeshiko League side Sfida Setagaya FC, who will rebrand as FC Tokyo Sfida from 2027.
This puts us just one WE League admission away from a woso Tokyo Derby.

It’s a tad unfair on them given the huge gaps in player salaries of LMX and MLS. VFC getting Champions Azul was always going to be extremely tough for example. It would’ve better for CPL to enter into a 2nd level trophy like the Concacaf League or shift the Caribbean Cup to be more inclusive
