That's The Last Jedi for me.
Saw the Thursday preview, the audience cheered, the movie shocked and surprised me. Came out of it blown away. Woke up the next day to read that it ruined my childhood :/

Underrated film!

"SirΔt" is one of the most harrowing experiences I've ever had in the cinema. I left the film literally shaking. Read or see nothing about it. Just go see it!
I hope to one of them in a few more years, as I've been living in this beautiful country for over 4 years now!
The Ellisons are actually even more despicable and depraved than we already imagine them to be.
I am devastated for my friends at Warner Bros. who will lose their jobs, for Hollywood as it shrinks and erodes, for Los Angeles as its historic backlots become more vacant, and I am enraged at what is happening to our democracy and the freedom of the press.
*2025 (facepalm)
I noted at least two (2) split diopter shots in "The Secret Agent" (2024) and I feel an obligation to let @tvaziri.com know!
My goodness, what an incredible shot!
Canβt believe I voted for this guy to be the VP.

Itβs really disappointing when a disc doesnβt play. I was trying to re-watch Minority Report on blu-ray a couple of weeks and ago the disc stopped exactly halfway. No perceivable scratches or dust on it. Tried two different players. No luck :(

Sid, Manny, and Diego in a world that is going to shit whether or not there are cops, but at least there are no cops
Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006)
Wow, he's "deeply disappointed!" Almost as bad as him being "very, very troubled!"
It might be my favorite film of 2025!
Many films are too long, but every now and thereβs a film that you never want to end. #MartySupreme is one of those few films. Everyone involved is at the height of their powers. Insanely well directed, edited, filmed, scored, and ofc, acted. A climax so intense I was trying not to blink. Bravo!

Saw #WakeUpDeadMan in a completely packed theater in London. Darker, more complex, but still retains the signature @rianjohnson.bsky.social sense of humor and wit. Loved it from start to finish. See it in a cinema if itβs remotely possible for you - donβt let Netflix tell you any different!
Saw it in the cinema during its limited release in London and thought it quite well done and, as you said, super intense!
