Deer just wants to say hi and make friends!
It screams at you, a sound that's far too human, soou spin on your heel and run without hesitation.
Something emerges from between the trees.
At first you don't understand what you're seeing, the water deer isn't native to this area, but that's what's there. However how it arrived stops mattering when it opens it's mouth, jaws lengthening until they touch the floor.
You know there's something wrong the moment you walk into the woods. The air feels off and the sounds aren't echoing right. You take careful steps, looking down and being sure you know exactly where your feet will land
Close by, you hear rustling, then there's movement out the corner of your eye.
